2017 8U Allstars Go To Mira Mesa & bring home a Championship

The 2017 Central Orange 8U Panthers All Star team go to Mira Mesa and bring home a championship.

Saturday:
The first game of the tournament began against a Las Vegas team. The start time was at 9:00 and the Panthers bats were hot! The Panthers defense was great also. The Panthers scored 8 and held Las Vegas to 1 run. It was a great begin.

Then they ran into a talented Carlsbad team which showed strong pitching. The Panthers battled and were the first to score in the 3rd inning. Then the Carlsbad team got that run back in the top of the 4th. The game end in a 1-1 tie.

The Panthers were seeded #1!

Sunday:
Sunday began against a Clairemont team that played earlier that morning to adavance. The Panther hit there way to 7 to 1 victory. They then moved on to the Championship game. The Championship game was against the team the Panthers tied against. Carlsbad showed strong pitch once again, but the Panthers bats were still hot from the previous game that day. The scored 11 and only gave up 2 runs. The defense was awesome.
